About Dan

I’ve been a software developer since 1987, but that doesn’t cover all that I’ve done.  Being involved in several different start-ups has taught me to step up to challenges and do what is necessary to reach the goal.  In that capacity I’ve written documentation, build database clusters, wired up networks, soldered prototypes, and talked many, many customers to resolve their problems.  I enjoy a new problem, bringing my experience to bear to come up with efficient  and cost effective solutions.   I enjoy working with a team, but I can also drive a project forward working solo.  In the software development field you are always learning new technologies as industry advances.  I bring a mature outlook to evaluating each new advance on the basis of effectiveness, maintainability, and longevity.
